Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born 18 November 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix showed an early aptitude for athletics when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic ability at the at the time. After a few weeks of the first attempt she made the sport, she finished second in 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. The following year, Felix earned her very first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making the world junior record running 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. She became the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium across her diverse races during the Olympics that took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
